Well Hello Everyone!
My three weeks of 21 day fix are up and the results are in!!! Drum Roll please....I am down five pounds! I didn't take measurements at the end of the 21 days, but I can tell you that my arms are a lot more toned!!! Also, my clothes feel loser than they did before!
I am very happy with my progress and with the program. Now I have to be honest...I didn't follow it perfectly. In fact I veered from the approved food list often. There were several times that the meat I was planning on cooking that night wasn't on the list or I would have a glass of wine and still eat all my yellow containers (carbs). However, what I did do was try to stick to eating more vegetables and fruits, and less carbs. Many times my carbs come from beans or almond milk. Also, I definitely avoided carby snacks.
This program taught me a lot. First off...portion control. You can eat a lot of veggies and fruits for limited calories. I learned to have a lot less carbs and fatty proteins. My snacks were healthy nuts and seeds or vegetables and fruits. But my favorite part of the program was how I felt! I felt full, but on top of that I felt healthy! My body seemed to love me during this program. I think it enjoyed not having refined sugars and grains.
My new plan...continue on the portion control program and start Hip Hop Abs workouts with Shawn T!!!
